Car Problem?

Virgil Menefee: Your problem is your fuel injection. Try changing the air filter and gas filter. If that doesn't help, then you may need to take it to a shop and have them service the fuel injection and clean it. That'll fix the problem.

Bethany Blocker: Try going to a National known parts place a such as an Autozone & have them run a diagnostic test on it. The computer stores the fault problems in it's memory and they can retrieve the info usually for free. Since thy're in the busnies of selling parts. Other than that, buy a Haynes manual for it & go to the imissions chapter and learn how to self diagnose the system. Anything else is jut plain guess work, & can be extremely costly and time consuming! Since different types of vehicles have different ways to read the engine codes, ie, GM, Ford, Chrysler etc. You'll need to know the exact way to extract the codes. They have a complete section on the how to, and what in these books. From shorting out pins 2 & 7 in t! he aldl connector in GM, to one of the simplest in Chrysler, turn key on, then off, on once more, off agasin, then on and leave on. The engine light begins to flash the codes. Code 23 for example reads like this. @ flashes, followed by brief interval, and the 3 flashes. Look up the codes list & make a note of all the codes in the sequence and determine the problem!...Show more

Hope Lundmark: I'm really pretty much guessing here, but It sounds like a vaccuum leak somewhere...with all the electronic controls on newer cars, a small vaccuum leak can spell disaster for your morning commute.

Demetrius Coaster: i would say your idle is set wrong

Booker Warlick: Does this happen while driving or just slowing down and stops?Check the plugs and wires. It sounds like the car isn't getting proper spark. When was the last tune up?
