How could anyone belive Global Warming science?

Frances Macky: Families with an income of $40,000 could lose up to 40 cents in vanishing credits for every additional dollar earned from working overtime or taking a new job. As public policy, this is contradictory. The tax credits are sold in the name of "making work pay," but in practice they can be a disincentive to working harder, especially if you're a lower-income couple getting raises of $1,000 or $2,000 a year. One mystery -- among many -- of the McCain campaign is why it has allowed Mr. Obama's 95% illusion to go unanswered. As far as helping Joe the plumber he is going to share his wealth and take his money to redistribute it. So Joe will simply NOT buy the business and he will not bother to employ anyone.

Alden Soldano: I don't understand why people think it's worth the risk just to ignore global warming statistics. However, our environment aside, the economy won't suffer from investing more into sustainability. It benefits us by lowering our dependenc! y on a depleting resource and cutting our necessary business ties with tyrannical countries.Oil companies will suck the crude dry because its profitable. And the more scarce oil becomes, the richer oil companies get by jacking up prices. Its greed that runs this problem. Oil companies bribe businesses to invest less....Show more

Arleen Bussing: Because we're educated.

Penelope Armond: He didnt, Obama wants to give them Joes Money and yours and mine. Vote McCain

Arnulfo Seegars: nope

Len Dalba: Personal experience. I've lived in the same part of the country all my life. I've noticed the weather patterns changing.

Raye Tredennick: This is entirely correct. Global warming would mean icecaps would partly melt, affecting ocean currents that keep parts of the world warm.

Madie Strople: I hear Mars is also going through a warming period.I guess our rovers are doing a lot of damage...

Ha Wolski: we know, we know...Fox News has instruct! ed you sheeple not to believe.....baaaaaaahhhhhhhh

Chet ! Nozick: What about Buster the tire tech?

Wilburn Denice: Science is merely the proposal of explanations to physical observations and repeatability of experimental results. In

Tatiana Evanosky: It is fairly easy to understand. A lot of younger people have spent 12 years of schooling and, some, more years in college having the idea that man is causing global warming beaten into their heads. It is not easy to undo that kind of brainwashing..

Tamatha Neubaum: If Obama was in office for only one term, do you think they would admit he spent his entire term doing nothing?

Collin Barter: Cons accepting that Global Warming is man-made is a step forward. No, it won't be benificial to coastal areas where people live. Humans will need to adapt as the enviroment changes, growing different crops. Wild plants, insects and other animals will change. Some will be threatened, some will invade. Some southern states could become uninhabital for humans and the food w! e grow there....Show more

Natalya Sydney: Joe is a real person who spoke with Obama in line. http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=joe%20plumbe...He is voting for McCain http://www.guardian.co.uk/news/blog/2008/oct/16/jo...

Queenie Ruthers: yes. you cull the weak that way.

Len Bormes: Carbon Monoxide (cars, pollution, etc.) warms the atmosphere and causes global warming. Carbon dioxide (consumer [people] exhaling) is what plants absorb to produce sugar and oxygen. So yes, but wrong question. Carbon monoxide is bad for the environment: because it increases drought, increases floods, damages animal habits, etc.

Emile Okafor: When the volcano in Wyoming blows filling half the country with black air, the Toyota prius Doesnt do ANYTHING, and either does your save the planet toilet paper.hahaheheha

Rivka Killmer: I agree with Mer.. You need to educate yourself.

Reyes Brunell: It just burns you far righties that despite your best efforts at o! bstructionism and scandal mania, the economy has been slowly improving,! unemployment steadily going down, Wall Street booming, the housing market getting stronger.I am not sure what else you can try throwing at the President, hoping it might stick.Maybe it is because you guys are simply inept at everything you do.

Irving Jordahl: First - @'loyd' - The DOW broke an all-time record recently - where were you ??!! - with all due respect to the member's question. To the question - the DEFICIT has been cut in half. The recovery is well on it's way IN SPITE of the MILLIONS of American good-paying jobs being offshored by the neo-con republicans !!btw - Prez Obama has only been prez for 4 yrs, and 132 days - NOT 6 yrs !!...Show more

Manual Burtis: More Carbon Dioxide is good for plants and trees. Why do Liberals think Climate Change is a problem?

Lawana Neemann: All you need is an education and some common sense

Rona Espalin: I'm going to trust the scientists and not the random Yahoo answers crackpot on this one. Just like if I n! eed surgery, I'll trust the doctor and not the right-wing loony with a political ax to grind.

Donny Bankson: Good thing you guys aren't racist.

Rona Ising: Doesn't Obama support everyone?

Darwin Ecton: When dead is alive, down is up and white is black then that makes sense.

Elden Bardach: Of course I believe everything the scientists say. Let's see, cholesterol is bad, no wait, cholesterol is good, no wait some of it is good and some of it is bad. Eggs will kill you, no wait, eggs are good, no wait part of an egg is ok the other part will kill you. It goes on and on why wouldn't I trust every word?

Lulu Bukowiecki: I think you should take a course in organic chemistry. If you have already taken one, revisit your studies.

Margy Sandquist: Don't even give it the benefit of calling it "science"...it is more like a crackpot theory, a flat out lie, or at best, pseudoscience. Notice how the impending climate armageddon keeps changing with the ! left as time goes on...in the 70's it was global cooling, then in the 9! 0's it was global warming, now it is the ever-so-convenient catch-all "climate change". Oh how clever. What a nice way to manipulate people...by scaring them with gross exaggerations...kind of like the latest "Medi-scare" rhetoric. It is all the far-left has....Show more

Branden Round: Because Joe the plumber is an actual real person that he actually met and those names you gave are just ones you made up with the apparent intention of making some racist point - unless I am missing your intent.

Alisia Sutphen: the "housing recovery" has every chance of turning out to be another illusion.

Moises Rupinski: Someone should help "Joe" the plumber register to vote.lol

Mel Crapo: No, Global warming means one thing: An increase in average global temperatures. Cold trends to not prove global warming, they are (sometimes) evidence of climate change.

Coralie Goldsberry: Yes! A "real" recovery would have seen the DOW return to pre-crash levels.

! Cassey Hollinghurst: They're desperate for a new messiah, since 0-bummo has failed so miserably.

Leisa Brodnex: Most of Canada is supported by very deep permafrost. As the permafrost melts, not only will they release far more methane and CO2 than man's contributions but the land would collapse. It's quite possible for much of Canada to return to the shallow in land sea it once was. Yes, Canada should be concerned because it won't just be warmer weather. Canada opted out of Kyoto because with the pine beetles surviving several warm winters without a die off, 80% of the BC pine forests were killed, the rotting trees are now releasing five times the CO2 produced by all Canadian cars. What was once a credit to Canada under Kyoto became a huge penalty which would have to be made up by reductions in industry, this made the Kyoto agreement impossible for Canada to meet....Show more

Krystal Cordovano: Your adamant ignorance won't change the facts.

Lorelei Lilburn:! Simple really. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://4.bp.bl...

Micah Schwarcz: No. http://www.skepticalscience.com/co2-plant-food.htm

Angelyn Ducas: How about we all hold congress responsible for blocking the jobs bill that would have put many Americans back to work, and helped the economy grow at a much healthier rate than it has in the past.

Delphine Cajka: Your question makes you seem racist. That is a shame, considering what refined taste your name indicates.I bet you have the nicest trailer in the park.Oh, and Joe's money is Joe's unless he made over a quarter of a million.

Hermina Ketring: The fossil fuel age will end within most of our lifetimes - so it is a mute point in my oppinion.

Marhta Teahan: Science??? It was less that 50 years ago that the "best environmental minds in the business" were warning us about global cooling.Take your pick.

Jana Sakasegawa: Hi, it figures "greenpeace and al gore" are "environmental" experts! What a "joke"! What's next!?

Nedra Oltz: A steady recovery an! d the election of Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Melvin Nakama: The weather on earth is more extreame than it has been in a LONG time. I'm not sure if it GW, but somethings not right.

Sol Allphin: They change it to climate change so they could cover all the bases .What a bunch of bull sh*tters.

Donella Vasta: Can we have at least one winter of recovery...? Is that too much to ask.

Arnulfo Seegars: People are predisposed to believe things they fear to be true as well as things they hope to be true, regardless of the absence of proof.

Travis Colomb: Because that wasn't his name. Duh.

Gregg Hagge: "Global warming" is widely regarded as poor terminology, which is why everyone calls it "climate change" now.Although the overall global trend is that the Earth is warming, local effects are varied and harder to predict. We're seeing cooling in some places, warming in others, stronger winds, more rain, less rain, and so on.Globally 2005 and 2010 are tied! for the hottest year since records began. 2007 and 2009 are tied for t! hird place. In fact, nine of the ten warmest years on record occurred in the past decade! How can I believe the science? I believe it because it's backed by confirmed observations. Same way I judge whether to believe pretty much anything else....Show more

Shaunta Paap: How about "Juan the lawnmower"?

Thomas Riner: because most people aren't even aware of the raging arguments between scientists. They just hear about it on the news or at school and believe it. As for the mad scientists themselves... they're just retarded.
