inexpensive study abroad?

Emeline Albracht: I don't think the $12k is too much, I am just not interested in this particular study abroad. I think the price and amount of credits you earn is perfect. Plus the airfare is included. I do plan on getting scholarships and grants. Although the better the price the more likely I am to come up with funds.

Clemente Schoeck: Why not ask for a sponsorship or apply for a scholarship?

Toshia Metzker: You might want to check out Eastern Europe. I studied abroad in Prague, and the countries of Europe that have yet to switch to the Euro are still very inexpensive to live in - Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary especially. All three are amazing places that you can live very cheaply in. It can be difficult since there is not a very large amount of people who speak English, but people there are generally very friendly to Americans (especially in Poland).

Lu Snide: Study abroad trips always cost a lot. The cheapest I've ever found was $10,000....! but that was for fashion and it was just for the summer.

Hai Biggart: I wouldn't think you'd find anything much cheaper than that. I was going to study abroad in Italy next semester and it would have cost me about $19,000 not including extra traveling, personal expenses, etc., so I think $12,000 is a pretty good price. If you still think it's too much, consider looking for scholarships, see if you qualify for financial aid, or take out a loan.

Nicolas Cooley: Well I believe you must apply for some scholarships,or you can search for some youth exchange program, like AIESEC IAESTEIn this way you will not only earn some stipend, you will have your dream of studying abroad fulfill also
