Sibyl Siwik: Just dont do something you regret because you will be stuck with it for a couple years.
Alexander Villas: Samsung has better spec but Android OS is a total mess, so it'll take you some time to learn about it. It does froze more than the iPhone. Battery is somewhat better with power saving features. If you are a computer nerd, open platform for developer are really fun.Apple is as simple as an Apple. It's for busy people who doesn't have so much time to play with their phone. The iOS is more simple and efficient. It always have everything you need. If you do get iPhone 6, you can get rid of your debit card now. ApplePay will also try to get more retailers on their side so you might not need a wallet. If you do use Siri on your iPhone a lot, I suggest you upgrade to 6 directly, because S-voice is a pain......Show more
Adelle Weight: If you are interested in switching to an Android phone, than the Galaxy S5 is a great way to do it. The Sams! ung Galaxy S5 is a beast. It actually matched the iPhone 6 in overall performance, despite being on the market for the last 6 months now.The Galaxy S5 has many more features compared to the iPhone 6. And the phone is also water resistant to 3 ft under water. The Galaxy S5 also has a larger screen when compared to the iPhone 6. And with a higher resolution to boot. (It matches the iPhone 6 Plus.)The Galaxy S5 actually has a full (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED screen, that was rated the best and most vivid screen of any cell phone when it launched this past March. It has a pixel density of 431. Where as the iPhone 6 has a resolution of 1334 x 750, with a pixel density of 326.The camera on the Galaxy S5, is also a little bit better than what is found on the iPhone 6. The Galaxy has a 16mp camera, that generally offers more detail and brighter more natural colors compared to the iPhone 6.The Galaxy S5 can play all your music if you wish. And unlike the iPhone 6, you are not tied do! wn to having to use iTunes to manage your music. You can simply! copy and paste music from your computer to the memory card on the Galaxy. Basically like a USB stick. While the Galaxy won't sync to iTunes, you can copy and paste your songs over to the S5. And you can continue to buy music from iTunes if you wish. However the Google Play Store is readily available on the Galaxy S5. And you can save your music to the device or in the cloud. (Google Play sells 320Kbps Mp3's.)You can also buy TV shows and movies from Google Play too. The Galaxy S5 is geared more for the high end tech geek, or power user who needs or wants more advanced features that the iPhone's simply can't provide. Where as iPhone's are more of a streamlined device and offer a more push button friendly experience . But in turn, they don't offer anywhere near the capabilities that Android phones offer. I would go to a local Best Buy and play around with a Galaxy S5 to see what you think. The Galaxy S5 is a beast of a phone, with a powerful Snapdragon 801 cpu, that is easily! up to the tasks of running the latest games and apps with ease. As well as handling multitasking operations as well. The S5 is one of the most powerful smartphones on the market today....Show more
Bob Nakamoto: i love my Samsung S5. I have had the Samsungs for the last few years and wouldn t switch.
Pattie Vold: You are switching from one operating system that it seems you are very familiar with to android. The galaxy S5 is a very great phone, but when it comes to build quality, it fails. The S5 was announced in April of 2014 but it is almost 2015 and the specs on the S5 are getting old. The Samsung galaxy alpha is coming out with good build quality, and the note 4. The S5 is not the best phone ever because newer phones are coming out. If I was switching to android, I womnuld prefer the Oneplus One (which has a snapdragon 801 processor, but it still works great for gaming) or the HTC One M8 Google play edition. Snapdragon 801 processor in the S5 is not the best! for gaming anymore. Find a device with a snapdragon 805 processor. I w! ould take the upgrade to go to the iPhone 6. I know you might want change and you are bored of iOS. But android is a drastic change from iOS and you are not used to it yet. Android has lots of fun animations that you might like compared to iOS. But does android have a store to go to? Does it have good customer service to call if your screen breaks or your phone breaks? iOS does. Take that to consideration when you do or don't get the S5. I would stay away from the S5 and get a newer phone that will come out in 2015. You know what you want. You either want the simplicity of iOS and all its features it has to offer, or android, Something completely different that can either be hard or easy. Screens are just getting bigger and the iPhone 6 is a great size. 5.1" on the S5 is a great size. But I would go bigger if you could and stay away from Samsung's touchwiz. You will not EVER get a new android version with touchwiz. Get a google play edition phone so you get Android L or any! other new version that is coming out. Good luck picking!
