Codi Manchel: Of course. But they don't help. Start by doing a lot of research on the acting world. And then find a real class. That would probably be best if you would really like to use the internet. There are also a lot of amazing books written by directors and actors!Hope this helps!xo, Ella...Show more
Lewis Ranft: There are a lot of online classes, but none of them will help you - they just cost a lot!To learn to act you have to join a good class - a real one. Acting is all about interacting and reacting with other performers, and the teachers have to see you act, demonstrate, direct you, etc. You'll learn just as much from watching the other students as you will from doing it yourself.Honestly - a live class, attended at least once a week, for at least two years - probably longer - is a necessity. And even that will only cover the basics.Good luck!...Show more

You might catch a few good tips here and there, but you can't truly grasp the concept of acting. Acting is a social activity. You have to actually do it to become good at it. If you want to take acting classes, then I would suggest starting with local acting classes or improv classes. You might even want to jump in and start auditioning for community theatre productions. If you know any independent film makers, you could possibly get in touch with them and do film festivals etc. Or why not do all of those things asd much as you can? I like to use the analogy of learning to drive a stick shift. You just have to do it....Show more
